Laura Kelly is a Certified Nutrition Specialist and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist, who utilizes a highly personalized and evidence-based approach to helping athletes achieve optimal health and performance. Through an advanced understanding of biochemical nuances, laboratory assessments, and functional testing, Laura works to identify the underlying causes of health and performance deficits, giving athletes a blueprint for achieving athletic success.

​Sandra Gallagher-Mohler is a Mind Body Performance Coach who utilizes a comprehensive approach to coaching elite athletes, incorporating mental and physical strength training, bio-mechanical corrective exercises, nutritional health coaching, run coaching, and sports performance reiki to help each athlete achieve optimal health and performance.

The Athlete Optimization Process
Step 1
To begin, email Info@AthleteOptimization.com, or complete the Contact form below to receive your prospective client questionnaire, and to schedule your complimentary 15 minute phone consultation. Together, we'll determine which package best suits your needs based on your symptoms, needs and goals.
Step 2
Step 3
After you've completed both your lab testing and medical and sport history forms, we will schedule your virtual 90 minute lab review and intake session with Laura. In this thorough and comprehensive session, you will learn not only the results of your lab tests, but also how your body's systems are working together to fuel your health and performance needs. Laura will help guide you on the how and why of any recommended dietary changes and (Clean Sport approved) supplementation needs to take the guess work out of your nutrition program.
Step 4
Following your lab review and intake session we will schedule your first of two 60 minute health and performance coaching session with Sandra. These sessions are designed to support you in your unique Optimization process. Here we will address the needs of your mind, body, and nervous system through a comprehensive and holistic approach, and the modalities we utilize will be tailored specifically to your health and athletic performance needs. Run gait training, biomechanic corrective exercise programming, strength training, sports performance reiki, nutrition coaching, and mental strength training are all available options, either virtually, or in person for our Baltimore, MD or concierge athletes. At the conclusion of this session we will schedule your second 60 min health and performance coaching session at the interval that best suits your needs.
Step 5
Following your health and performance coaching sessions, you may find that you Optimize best with ongoing support. In these cases, athletes are encouraged to schedule additional 60 minute sessions with either Laura or Sandra to best support their needs.
Step 6
Find yourself in practice and competition feeling stronger, faster, and more confident than you've ever felt- as an Optimized Athlete.
